Abstract
Furniture, where at least one element of the furniture’s construction has a multi-layered structure, of which at least one layer is a panel (6) made from non-transparent material, preferably wood-based furniture board, and at least one layer (7) is made from light-conducting material. The furniture has a light source (9) mounted near the light-conducting elements (7). At least part of the surface of the light-conducting element is located outside the article of furniture. Part of the outer surface of the light-conducting element has light-diffusing properties (10).
