Die gebündelten Lichtwellenleiter werden von unten mittels einer Leuchtdiode beleuchtet. Die Tischplatte ruht auf vier in der Position versetzbaren Trägerrahmen. An der Unterseite des Tischplatte befinden sich 24 Muttern. In den Trägerrahmen befinden sich auf dem oberen waagerechten Rahmenstück jeweils drei Schraublöcher, durch die die Trägerrahmen in variabler Weise mit den Muttern in der Tischpltte verbunden werden.
