Abstract

La présente invention concerne un carreau lumineux (10) qui est directement appliqué sur le sol ou sur un mur dans un espace habituel de carreau de couverture de type classique. Ce carreau lumineux (10) comprend un bord périmétrique (14) qui définit sensiblement le périmètre géométrique de ce carreau lumineux (10). Ce bord périmétrique (14) possède une épaisseur mince et une hauteur prédéterminée sensiblement égale à l'épaisseur d'un carreau classique. La partie supérieure de ce périmètre géométrique donne de la lumière. Ce carreau lumineux (10), à l'intérieur du bord périmétrique (14), est défini sensiblement par un corps unique (26) constitué d'un matériau conducteur de lumière qui possède une épaisseur (11) sensiblement égale à la hauteur du bord périmétrique (14), et il forme une seule pièce avec ce bord périmétrique (14). Le corps (26) comprend la face non visible coopérant avec un organe réfléchissant (13). Une source lumineuse (18, 118) est optiquement connectée avec le corps (26) et est noyé dans un matériau conducteur de lumière dans la masse avec le corps (26).
