Abstract

The invention relates to an improved life preserver. The inventi ve preserver essentially comprises a reduced-size inflatable el ement which is placed around the neck of the user in the form of a collar and which is connected to an inflating means, said inflating means being used to inflate the aforementioned inflatable element using a pressurised foam or gas.
