L'invention permet d'augmenter la fiabilité et la durée de vie des grandes machines électriques, d'améliorer les paramètres techniques et économiques de la machine, de simplifier et de rendre moins onéreux le processus de fabrication de l'isolation de l'enroulement statorique, et d'améliorer la réparabilité de la machine. Dans le stator de la machine électrique haute tension, qui comprend un noyau de conducteur magnétique, dans les insterstices duquel on a disposé des sections d'enroulement constituées de conducteurs recouverts d'une isolation du boîtier, on a appliqué par-dessus l'isolation un revêtement semi-conducteur constitué d'une enveloppe et d'une pièce rapportée.
