Abstract

The invention relates to a device for automatically pivoting a motor vehicle door (2), preferably a boot lid. Said device comprises one or more pivoting drives (9; 9') for pivoting the motor vehicle door (2) about a hinge axis (3; 3 ). The aim of the invention is to significantly simplify the assembly of a motor vehicle comprising an automatically pivoting motor vehicle door (2). This is achieved by a module carrier (6; 6'), which, when used for the aforementioned purpose, extends parallel to the hinge axis (3; 3') and onto which all the essential drive components (pivoting drives (9; 9') etc.) and preferably also the electronic control unit (13) for controlling said pivoting drives (9; 9') are fixed.

The invention relates to an apparatus for automatically pivoting a Kraftfahrzeugtur, preferably a tailgate, with one or more rotary actuators for pivoting the Kraftfahrzeugtur about a hinge axis.
