Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé servant à vérifier l'identité de personnes traversant un point de contrôle, utilisant un système d'identification par radiofréquence, plus communément désigné sous le nom de RFID (identification par radiofréquence), ou des liaisons hertziennes correspondantes. Ce système comprend des étiquettes d'identification (1) et des appareils de communication (2). Chaque étiquette d'identification (1) est équipée d'une antenne (3), d'un modulateur, d'un circuit logique de commande (4) servant à commander le modulateur et d'une mémoire (5). Chaque étiquette d'identification est conçue pour recevoir un signal transmis par un appareil de communication (2) et pour renvoyer ou retransmettre ce signal sous forme modulée, les appareils de communication étant reliés à un ordinateur central (7) et à une base de données (8). L'invention se caractérise par le fait que la mémoire (5) des étiquettes d'identification renferme un code servant à identifier la personne à laquelle appartient réellement l'étiquette d'identification, ce code étant transféré à l'ordinateur (7) par un appareil de communication (2) ; les paramètres spécifiques d'une personne, tels que la couleur de ses yeux ou d'autres paramètres exploitables par une machine, sont lus de façon mécanique ; les paramètres lus sont transférés à l'ordinateur (7) ; l'ordinateur (7) compare les paramètres lus à des paramètres spécifiques à une personne stockés préalablement ; l'ordinateur (7) signale que les étiquettes d'identification appartiennent aux personnes portant les étiquettes s'il y a correspondance entre les paramètres figurant sur les étiquettes et les paramètres stockés préalablement.
