Abstract

L'invention appartient au domaine de la médecine et peut s'utiliser pour l'hyperthermie locale des tumeurs malignes. Le dispositif comprend un générateur d'un champ électrique très haute fréquence et deux électrodes avec applicateurs connectées à ce dernier. Chaque applicateur se présente comme une chambre remplie d'un liquide diélectrique refroidi. La chambre se présente comme un soufflet dont une paroi d'extrémité est en contact avec l'électrode, l'autre paroi étant élastique et fonctionnant comme une paroi de travail. Cette dernière peut interagir directement avec la surface du corps du patient ou être en contact avec une deuxième chambre en matériau souple qui interagit avec la surface du corps du patient. Le dispositif est muni d'un système d'orientation d'électrodes qui comprend une attache aux extrémités de laquelle sont montées des barres avec des électrodes, capables de coulisser l'une vers l'autre. L'attache est reliée au mécanisme de rotation autour de son axe Y et est fixée au corps avec ce dernier, monté sur un socle de manière à pouvoir se déplacer de manière linéaire le long de l'axe X et de pivoter autour dudit axe X; sa base peut se déplacer de façon linéaire le long des axes Y et Z.
