Abstract

L'invention concerne des protéines ayant une activité de vascularisation qui sont utilisées pour le diagnostic, le traitement ou la prévention des maladies associées à la vascularisation. Au moyen des plasmides pGL3HRE-Luc et pGL3KDR-Luc, on a cloné à partir d'une bibliothèque d'ADNc construite de cellules endothéliales de veine ombilicale chez l'humain un ADNc codant pour une protéine ayant une activité de promotion de l'expression de VEGF et/ou d'un récepteur de VEGF à des fins de clonage, et la séquence d'ADN ainsi que la séquence d'acide aminé qui en a été déduite. La protéine, l'ADN codant pour la protéine, le vecteur recombinant contenant l'ADN et un transformant contenant le vecteur recombinant sont utiles pour cribler une substance inhibant ou favorisant la vascularisation.
