Method for alignment of piles or wall profiles
The invention relates to a method for improving the mounting accuracy, direction and straightness of a row of piles or a wall formation that can be made of piles or wall profiles to be driven into the ground, in which method the pile or profile wall is driven by means of a special hammering device beside the former one in order to form a row of piles or a uniform wall.
Previously known are angle detectors in connection with hammering devices of this kind of profiles, which indicates the driver of the working machine the angle position of the hammering device, whereat the upright position of profile can be observed. When the next profile is taken to the side its sideways direction, i.e. the line in which direction the wall starts to advance, cannot be observed from the reading of the angle detector.
Also hammering devices are known, by means of which only the upper end of pile or profile can be gripped. Then on lifting the profile into hammering position, it seeks itself into upright position and thus it is possible to get the first profile quite straight. The profiles that follow get into groove of the former one and can gradually get leaned in some direction. The direction of the advancing wall must be observed from a possible alignment thread or from other marks made in the ground. Since the working machine must be moved uninterruptedly as the wall advances and it must pick up profiles from different places, the wall alignment cannot be determined on basis of the working machine position,.
By means of the method according to this invention the piling problems and problems of steering profiles into straightness and problems due to other assembly accuracy are solved, the working is improved and speeded up. The method as per the invention is characterized in that in the method for a straight chosen as assembly line an illuminated level, as a laser beam fan, running through said straight, is formed by means of a transmitter sending laser light and steered by the indication of the detector installed in the hammering device and the hammering device driving down the pile or profile is adjusted on the assembly line so that the pile or profile fastened to the device gets placed on the said line, while being driven into the ground.
The aim of the invention is to facilitate assembly accuracy of a row of piles or a wall made of profiles in regard to the chosen line, while they are being driven into the ground. When the chosen line and a corresponding vertical level is easily formed in the terrain by means of the beam fan, positioning of the hammering device for each pile or profile is easy and fast.
In the following the invention is disclosed with reference to the enclosed drawing, where
Fig. 1 shows the profile wall and its alignment viewed from above.
Fig. 2 shows a profile wall driven in the ground and the alignment level formed by means of a beam fan. Fig. 3 shows the hammering device, by means of whose side grip the profile has been grasped, viewed from above.
Figure 1 shows viewed from above profiles 1 connected to each other by means of grooves and forming a wall. Transmitter 2 sending laser beam R is arranged to form an assembly line, into which one strives to drive profiles 1 , while their side portions get placed in turns on both sides of the line.
Figure 2 shows profiles 1 driven in the ground and transmitter 2 that determines an assembly line for them. Transmitter 2 produces a vertical beam fan most suitably by means of an arrangement, where the transmitter sending beam R makes continuous oscillation in the vertical level as much as a certain angle so that by mans of the beam fan a level T is formed.
Figure 3 shows viewed from above hammering device 8 of profile 1. With clamping jaws 3 and 4 in gear profile is gripped from the side. Profile 1 is taken in the jaws both in a way shown in the figure and as a mirror image in turns in order to produce walls shown in figures 1 and 2. Jaw 4 is movable. When hammering device with its profiles is moved with a former profile already driven into groove, the former profile determines due to the tongue-and- groove joint the position of the other side of the next profile to be driven. Even the other side of profile 1 must before driving be brought to the chosen line, which is indicated by beam R. In hammering device 8 detector 5 of laser beam R is placed, which has a portion 6 detecting beams R in a larger extent. Thus by means of indicators 7 installed in connection with detector 5 it is possible to indicate also the approaching phase, correction need and correction direction of the chosen line. On the basis these hammering gear 8 is movable/turnable so that
one side of the profile is in groove and the other turned by means of the hammering device so that the hammering device is just on the chosen line that corresponds to the profile 1 proper position.
By means of the arrangement the position of hammering device 8 can in regard to the chosen line be discovered also at all height levels that can come into question. Thus it does not matter from which height the profile has been gripped.
If with hammering device round piles are driven by pile jaws, one detector 5,6 placed on the centre line of the jaws in the hammering device is enough.
In the case shown in figure 3, when asymmetric profiles 1 are driven turned in turns, two detectors 5,6 must be placed on both sides of the tongue and groove line. It is also to be noted that the hammering device is in both separate cases adjusted expressly following the indication of detector 5,6. For the different forms of depth the detectors can be moved correspondingly on the surface of hammering device 8 if there are only two detectors in use.
By means of the method according to the invention especially the first pile or profile can be accurately driven down in the direction of the chosen line. If the hammering device is in the head of the working machine boom, as usual, the boom can be controlled manually so that the hammering device is kept on the line all the time the profile is driven down. Another possibility is to take a signal from the detectors of the hammering device position and to control by means of the signal and electro-hydraulic control system the motion of boom so that the hammering device remains on the chosen line. In this way it is possible to proceed even with following profiles.
Especially, on driving down long piles and profiles a by-product is most practical if for no other reason than handling the profile, when it has to be lifted to the initial position. Taken by the by-product the profile/hammering device unit does not due to gravity take a vertical position by itself. Therefore it is important that control of the hammering device start and control during driving can in every respect be adjusted accurately. The method according to the invention ensures the upright position and remaining on the piling/profile line.
