When the set time and day reaches the set reminder time and day an alarm sequence is begun until the pill packet 1 (refer Fig. 4) is detected as to have been removed.
  • Alarm means 17 indicates to a user (not shown) that the packet 1 has not been removed. Replacement of the pill packet 1 turns off the alarm sequence until the time and day reaches the next reminder day and time and so forth.
  • 21 or 28 day cycles can be set. In the 21 day cycle mode the alarm will not sound for the last 7 days of a 28 day cycle.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de surveillance s'utilisant en relation avec un paquet ou distributeur de pilules ou doses de médicament conçu pour contenir de façon libérable au moins une pilule ou dose de médicament. Ce dispositif de surveillance comprend (a) un détecteur de présence de distributeur ou paquet; (b) un dispositif d'alarme; (c) une horloge; (d) une logique. Cette logique est conçue pour provoquer la production d'un signal d'alarme par le dispositif d'alarme dès que le détecteur de présence de distributeur ou paquet détecte la présence d'un distributeur ou paquet pendant une période ininterrompue dont l'horloge constate qu'elle est supérieure à une période définie fonction du contenu en pilules ou doses de médicament. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un pilulier à plaquette alvéolée, pouvant recevoir un récipient ou paquet de pilules ou de doses analogues de médicament, et comportant un détecteur sensible au déplacement du paquet.
