Abstract
L'invention concerne un système d'illumination de freinage des véhicules directement proportionnel à l'intensité de freinage, c'est-à-dire, plus le freinage est intense, plus la surface illuminée est grande. Ledit système est constitué d'une barre située dans la partie supérieure arrière du véhicule destinée à être le plus visible possible, et connectée au système de freinage du véhicule de manière que, lors du freinage, la surface de la barre soit illuminée de manière directement proportionnelle à l'intensité du freinage, c'est-à-dire, plus le freinage est intense, plus la surface illuminée de la barre est grande. L'illumination est de couleur rouge et progressive, et commence par la gauche, par rapport au véhicule postérieur. La forme de la barre est rectangulaire. On utilise pour la détection de l'intensité de freinage un transducteur de pression situé dans le système hydraulique ou mécanique d'activation du frein ou par contrôle électronique de la diminution de la vitesse.
