  • the invention relates to a shaving head according to the introductory portion of claim 1.

  • the annular wall portion of this known shaving head is provided with a 5 large number of lamellae extending in substantially radial directions, which lamellae separate the hair-entry apertures. These apertures provide a visible shaving area of the shaving head. Accordingly, the formation of gaps between the cutting edges and the annular wall portion due to deformation of the annular wall portion is substantially reduced. In turn, this results in a substantial reduction of the negative influence on the shaving performance and comfort, which is caused by such gaps in that hairs are pulled by the cutting edges instead of being cut off cleanly.
