Abstract

Eine Gießvorrichtung weist mindestens einen Zwischenbehälter (10) für eine Metallschmelze auf. Ferner ist eine Einrichtung (8, 11-14) zum Konstanthalten eines vorbestimmten Niveaus (N) der Schmelze in dem Zwischenbehälter (10) vorgesehen. Zum Abgeben eines Metallstranges tritt dieser durch eine Düse (15) in eine Formgebungseinrichtung. Die Einrichtung (8, 11-14) zum Konstanthalten des Niveaus (N) der Schmelze weist eine Dosierpumpe (8) in dem Zwischenbehälter (10) auf, welche zum Dosieren eine Einstellanordnung (11-14; 19-21) für ein wählbares Niveau (N) besitzt. Überdies ist der Auslaß dieses Zwischenbehälters mit einer Düse (15; 115) zum Abgeben des Metalles in eine kontinuierliche Formgebungseinrichtung oder in eine sonstige Form ausgebildet.
