Abstract

Es ist bereits bekannt, mit nichtthermischen Plasmen eine Reformierung von Brennstoffen zu bewirken. Gemäss der Erfindung werden Elektronen zur Erzeugung der nichtthermischen Plasmen zwecks Reformierung der Brennstoffe eingesetzt. Bei der zugehörigen Vorrichtung mit einem Reaktorgefäss (30) sind eine Elektronenstrahlquelle (21 - 26) und ein Reaktorgefäss (30) vorhanden, denen Mittel zur Generierung und Einkoppelung des Elektronenstrahls (27) in das Reaktorgefäss (30) zugeordnet sind. Eine spezifische Vorrichtung (110) kann vorteilhafterweise einer Gasturbine (120) zur Behandlung des dort eingesetzten Brenngases zugeordnet sein, womit insbesondere ein verbessertes GUD-Kraftwerk (100) geschaffen wird.
