Abstract

Described is a diagnostic composition comprising nucleic acid molecules which are capable of specifically hybridizing to the mRNAs of genes showing abnormal gene expression associated with a cardiopathy, particularly a cardiomyopathy, e.g. dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Also described is the use of said nucleic acid molecules for diagnosis of such diseases or a disposition to such diseases.
