Abstract

La présente invention concerne des mélanges polymères qui présentent une bonne résistance aux chocs, ces mélanges polymères comprenant une matrice en polypropylène cristallin et un agent antichoc copolymère partiellement cristallin d'un poids moléculaire inférieur à celui du polymère de la matrice, ledit polymère de la matrice pouvant comprendre n'importe quel homopolymère ou copolymère de propylène cristallin. Les copolymères modifiant la résistance au choc se caractérisent en ce qu'ils comprennent au moins environ 60 pour cent en poids ( % en poids) d'unités dérivées de propylène et, dans certaines formes de réalisation, en ce qu'ils comprennent au moins un, de préférence deux ou plus de deux des propriétés suivantes: (i) des pics de résonance magnétique nucléaire (RMN) du 13C correspondant à un défaut de régiosélectivité à environ 14,6 et environ 15,7 ppm, les pics ayant une intensité globalement égale, (ii) une valeur B supérieure à environ 1,4 lorsque la teneur en comonomère du copolymère est au moins d'environ 3 % en poids, (iii) un indice d'asymétrie, Six, supérieur à environ 1,20, (iv) une courbe de calorimétrie à balayage différentiel ayant une Tme qui reste globalement la même et une Tmax qui diminue à mesure que la quantité de comonomère augmente dans le copolymère, et (v) un diagramme de diffraction des rayons X qui fait état de plus de cristaux de forme gamma qu'un copolymère comparable préparé avec un catalyseur Ziegler-Natta (Z-N).
