Abstract

The invention concerns a bogie comprising a chassis (10) and axles (12) mounted via axle boxes (17) and primary suspensions (16) on the chassis (10). Two motoring units (20) are fixed to the chassis and linked via elastic coupling and transmission devices (23) to the axles (12). Assembling and disassembling means (70) comprise axle boxes (17) in two parts (60, 64) whereof the lower part can be disassembled and elastic coupling and transmission devices (23) whereof the part in contact with the axle can be spaced apart therefrom by elastic axial displacement. Thus, the axles can very rapidly and easily assembled, without having to disassemble all or part of the primary suspensions (16) and the motoring units (20).
