Abstract

Selon l'invention, un véhicule comprend un appareil servant à estimer une position courante, tel qu'un appareil GPS, et un appareil de télécommunication, tel qu'un téléphone cellulaire. Le véhicule transmet à un centre d'information la position courante détectée pour chaque période prédéterminée. Le centre d'information détermine une pluralité de zones situées dans une région pour la transmission des informations ainsi que les informations devant être transmises pour chaque zone. Dès réception des données indiquant la position courante d'un véhicule, le centre d'information utilise ces données pour identifier la zone dans laquelle se trouve le véhicule et transmet au véhicule les informations déterminées pour la zone.
