Abstract
Un mécanisme de propulsion de navire comprend un moteur primaire, un propulseur (7) ainsi qu'un dispositif de transmission de puissance (3) destiné à transmettre la puissance du moteur primaire à l'hélice (7). Le moteur primaire comprend une machine (1) et un moteur électrique (4), dont l'un ou dont les deux entraînent l'hélice (7), et dont le premier entraîne un générateur de charge (2). Le moteur électrique (4) ainsi qu'un dispositif électrique (12/14/15) montés sur le navire sont commandés par la puissance électrique qui est conservée par la production d'énergie du générateur (2).
