Ce briquet de sécurité présente par ailleurs une longue encoche ménagée sur la partie supérieure du réservoir de combustible, un panneau de guidage qui est intégré à la partie supérieure interne du couvercle et fait saillie suivant la verticale, un ensemble de broches disposé horizontalement en partie inférieure du panneau de guidage et accouplé à la longue encoche, un organe de blocage situé sur le trajet en rotation du couvercle lorsque celui-ci est déverrouillé, un ressort installé dans l'unité piézo-électrique et un renflement situé sur un côté du panneau de guidage en direction transversale pour assurer le contact avec la partie supérieure de l'unité piézo-électrique. Le briquet de la présente invention permet d'éviter tout allumage involontaire et donc tout accident avec des enfants manipulant ledit briquet.
