Abstract
The invention is about a granular composition for cat litters comprising a starch based vegetal product, a salt of acidic pyrophosphate with an alkaline or alkaline earth metal, calcium sulphate and an herb belonging to the valerian family. Preferably the starch based vegetal product is barley, the metal forming the pyrophosphate salt is sodium, the herb is the valeriana officinalis, commonly known as valerian. The granule according to the invention besides offering the typical properties found in conventional litters is also completely ecological.
