Come è ben noto la valeriana ha dimostrato proprietà neurosedative, che nell'animale hanno l'effetto di prediligere questo tipo di lettiera rispetto ad altre. Essa viene impiegata nella composizione secondo l'invenzione in quantità pari a 0,2-5% in peso in base alla composizione totale.
