Abstract

The invention relates to a retrieval device, which facilitates training with a golf ball in the open. The device consists of a guide rod with a handle at the lower end and a ring at the upper end. A reel for rolling up and unrolling a line is fixed to said rod. A hole is drilled through the golf ball, which is likewise provided with a line. The line attached to the ball is connected to the line of the device, the latter enabling the line to be unrolled with the help of the reel, when the ball is struck by a normal golf club in the conventional manner. This permits an unrestricted golf stroke. The line is rolled up again using a crank or a motor and the ball attached to the end of said line is retrieved, returning to its starting point. Balls that have been struck can thus be retrieved and located without any difficulties. The device is retained by stands that are placed on the ground or driven into the earth.

The invention relates to a device in which a golf ball is attached to a cord. With a technique for rolling out and rolling in the cord, the ball can be played without restriction and can be retrieved after the stroke on the cord.

Golf training is currently usually possible if you practice on a driving range with balls from the ball machine. The balls are bought in predetermined quantities and then hit with practice strokes on: the meadow intended for this. Both solutions do not create the same conditions as with the right golf game. The invention has for its object to provide a situation in training that is equivalent to the claim in a real round of golf. That means to play the ball at an intended distance, which the terrain requires: To practice, one takes: a certain target point from and: repeats the stroke until it is mastered. With the invented device can be practiced on any open area, such as meadows, fields, open areas with asphalt, sports and parks. There is also the possibility to play in the water or in the snow. The device creates the prerequisite for being able to perform targeted shots, practicing certain distances, types of clubs, stroke positions etc. and thereby directly obtaining a visible result of the ball tug.

The technique of fishing was used on the holding side of the line. A standard fishing line forms the basic material. This is connected to the line on the ball using the angler method with a knot or leader. The line is guided by a spool, as is common when fishing. This coil is firmly attached to the device. A simple variant is used which releases the unwinding of the line by releasing a lock. After the spool, the line is passed over a short arm with a wide ring at the top. The cord runs through this ring and can be rolled out easily. Now the blow can be carried out. With a crank mechanism, as with the fishing rod, the line is rolled up.

The entire device is placed on the floor. It is equipped with a handle and enables easy operation when cranking back. When training on flat and smooth terrain, where there is no risk of blocking, it is possible to attach a small motor that operates the crank. This makes it even easier to retrieve. An additional increase in effective training is provided by the colored marking of the cord with meter details. In this way it is possible to track exactly which striking distance has been achieved.

The various advantages lie in the solution of the task. After the stroke, the attached ball can be brought back. Depending on the length of the stroke, the process often takes less than a minute. There is no constant running back and forth. A ball that has disappeared into a hole in the ground or is no longer seen by another obstacle can be found so easily, you only have to roll up the cord. If there is a blockage due to unevenness in the landscape, you can follow the course of the line and get every ball back. Training is possible at any time and in the right place at no cost. The device can be taken anywhere and used and does not require complex installation. People who want to study golf in a test phase can approach this.
