Abstract

Le système de maîtrise du feu à rideau d'eau double de cette invention est destiné à empêcher le feu de se propager dans des voitures et zones adjacentes en cas d'incendie. Le système permettra d'emprisonner le feu entre deux sections du rideau d'eau double de manière à permettre l'évaluation du nombre de personnes pouvant être enfermées dans le tunnel. Le système de cette invention est conçu comme un système de maîtrise du feu dans lequel les rideaux doubles stopperont efficacement la propagation du feu. La configuration physique dans ce cas a pour but de créer une barrière contre le feu efficace constituée d'un mur d'eau. Lorsque la fumée et l'air chaud atteignent le rideau anti-feu, la température ambiante dans cette zone sera réduite significativement à cause de l'échange de chaleur/absorption de chaleur rapides. Ce système de protection contre le feu à rideau d'eau est constitué d'au moins deux rideaux d'eau, chaque rideau contenant plusieurs buses, certaines utilisées pour un débit d'eau à grande vitesse et les autres utilisées pour un débit d'eau à faible vitesse (buse à jet en cône plat), de manière que chaque rideau forme une barrière d'eau, ces rideaux étant situés proches l'un de l'autre, à une distance prédéterminée comprise par exemple entre 0,5 et 20 mètres.
