Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft in Mikroorganismen der Gattung Corynebacterium replizierbare, gegebenenfalls rekombinante DNA. Sie betrifft weiterin ein Verfahren zur fermentativen Herstellung von Pantothensäure. Erfindungsgemäss wird durch eine Abschwächung oder Ausschaltung der Transaminase eine erhöhte Pantothensäurebildung möglich. Dies kann durch Deletion oder eine geringere Expression der für Transaminase codierenden Gensequenzen erreicht werden. Beispielsweise konnte durch Deleton oder Reduzierung der Expression des neuisolierten D-Pantothenatbiosynthesegens brnA aus Corynebacterium glutamicum in verbesserter Weise Panthotenat produziert werden. Mit Hilfe der erfindungsgemässen Nukleotidsequenz und dem Verfahren wird es möglish, durch Reduzierung der Transaminaseaktivität, eine verstärkte Pantothensäureproduktion zu erreichen.
