Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Reformeranlage (1) zur Bereitstellung eines Wasserstoff enthaltenden gasförmigen Produktsroms (2) während einer Startphase der Energieerzeugung mit einer Brennstoffzelle (3), bei dem eine Kenngröße bestimmt wird, die proportional zu einer Schadstoffkonzentration in einem Produkstrom (2) ist, und der Produktstrom (2) in Abhängigkeit von der Schadstoffkonzentration einer Brennstoffzelle (3) zugeführt oder verworfen wird. Desweiteren ist eine Reformeranlage (1) Gegenstand der Erfindung, die nach dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren arbeitet. Das Verfahren und die Reformeranlage (1) zeichnen sich dadurch aus, daß auf eine einfache und preiswerte Art und Weise die in einem Produktstrom (2) auftretenden Schadstoffe von einer Brennstoffzelle (3) ferngehalten werden.
