Abstract

De manière générale, la présente invention concerne un système et un procédé d'acheminement de signaux audio sur une liaison d'interface visuelle numérique (DVI). Dans une forme de réalisation, le système comprend un émetteur d'interface audionumérique (DAI) et un récepteur DAI. Lorsqu'il est couplé à un quatrième canal de la liaison DVI qui transmet un signal de synchronisation du transfert des pixels, l'émetteur DAI module le signal de synchronisation du transfert des pixels par le signal audionumérique d'entrée. L'émetteur DAI envoie le signal de synchronisation modulé au récepteur DAI qui récupère le signal audionumérique dans le signal de synchronisation du transfert des pixels modulé.
