Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Feststellung eines an einem Messort möglicherweise vorhandenen Testgases mit Hilfe eines Infrarot-Gasanalysators (1), mit Küvette (2), IR-Lichtquelle (3), IR-Detektor (4), sowie mit Hilfe von zwei der Zuführung von Gasen zum Infra-rot-Gasanalysator dienenden Gasleitungen (15, 17), von denen eine dazu bestimmt ist, möglicherweise Testgas enthaltendes Messgas am Messort aufzunehmen, und von denen die zweite (17) dazu bestimmt ist, Gas aus der umgebung des Messortes (Referenzgas) aufzunehmen, das einen Testgasuntergrund enthalten kann, der bei der Feststellung des am Messort aufgenommenen Testgases berücksichtigt werden soll; zur Verbesserung der Empfindlichkeit des Analysators wird vorgeschlagen, dass nur eine Küvette (2) vorhanden ist, dass am Messort aufgenommenes Messgas und Referenzgas in die Küvette des Infrarot-Gasanalysators derart eingelassen werden, dass sie in der Küvette abwechselnd vorhanden sind.
