Abstract

Dispositif de refroidissement pour fours à cuve, tels que des hauts fourneaux ou analogues. Ledit dispositif, qui est constitué d'une matière à forte conductibilité thermique, de préférence de cuivre ou d'alliages de cuivre, possède un élément de refroidissement (1) comportant des canaux pour fluide de refroidissement et se présentant sous forme de corps creux. Ledit élément de refroidissement possède une forme fondamentale cintrée, en coupe verticale, vers l'espace interne du four, par exemple orientée de manière essentiellement triangulaire vers l'espace interne du four, et possède sur au moins une face orientée vers la garniture intérieure réfractaire (4', 8') du four un profil de surface à gradins (4, 8) structurée du type en dents de scie ou analogue. Cet élément est destiné à protéger un anneau de refroidissement (3) du plan des tuyères à vent. La présente invention concerne également des fours à cuve dotés de dispositifs de refroidissement de ce type.
