Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for dosing flowable or pourable products, such as pastes or solids, in which the product is metered from a storage container with dosing device into the product container and a system for dosing flowable or pourable products with a storage container with dosing device and with product containers into which the product from the storage container is dosed.
- the metering of flowable or pourable products is currently carried out via normal metering devices.
- various mechanical systems are used that work according to the so-called key-lock principle in order to prevent confusion between products during the dosing process.
- the dosing devices have product-independent controls.
- a known metering device product concentrates are mixed into an application solution in the container.
- concentrate is poured into a storage container and then the concentrate is filled with water into the corresponding storage container using a water jet pump.
- the customer then removes the application solution from the storage container. So it can not cause 'confusion with the products, the refill piercing closures that are equipped with different contours have. The same contours are on the container, so that mix-ups can be excluded according to the key-lock principle.
- the product supply is metered via a conductivity measurement.
- the solid product is sprayed with water. The product dissolves and the conductivity of the solution is measured.
- the object of the invention is to provide a solution with which the metering can be carried out simply and safely without complex mechanical key-lock mechanisms.
- This object is achieved according to the invention in a method of the type mentioned at the outset by first storing product information in a transponder or smart label provided on the respective product container and by querying the product information of the respective product container from a read / write control device of the dosing device before the dosing process and evaluated and only then, if necessary, the product is filled.
- a method is thus made available which can completely dispense with a mechanical key and lock principle.
- the respective product containers are labeled with a transponder or smart label and the dosing device is equipped with a read / write control device.
- the data stored on the transponder or smart label are used to control the dosing device.
- the dosing device is controlled by the data stored there, it is ensured that only dosing takes place when in the storage container for the the correct product is available for each product container, otherwise no dosing takes place.
- the control, in particular the quantity control of the dosing device is also influenced by the (control) data on the transponder, the transponder or smart label in label form on the product container usually contains a computer chip and an antenna.
- the corresponding read / write unit is located in the dosing device.
- the product container is brought close to the dosing device and the read / write unit inductively queries the data of the transponder label. It is not necessary for the product to be brought directly to the read / write unit, since the read / write unit can receive data over a distance of up to 75 cm. This distance applies to newer transponder types that operate at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. Older types only allow smaller distances.
- the read / write unit generates an inductive field, so that the antenna is set in vibration and thus there is energy for sending the information.
- the signal is then collected and processed by the read / write unit.
- the data is then forwarded to a control unit of the metering device.
- the dosing device is controlled with the supplied data.
- the method is very inexpensive, insensitive to malfunction and can be used for a wide variety of products, such as liquid, gel-like, powdery, solid, tablet-like, pasty and cream-like products.
- the read / write device before or during the metering process Additional information can be saved in the respective transponder or smart label.
- the data read from the respective product container can be used for a wide variety of process control.
- the total dosage can be blocked if there is an incorrect product container in the metering device.
- the doses can also be triggered in a targeted manner, both for different products and for different dosing quantities.
- the transponder chips of the product containers can be written with new data, the filling quantity in the product can be registered by counting the suction devices and the like. More.
- the invention also proposes a system for metering, which is characterized in that the product containers are each equipped with a transponder or smart label and the metering device is equipped with a read / write control device.
- a product container for a flowable or pourable product for example a liquid cleaning agent, is generally designated by 1.
- This product container 1 is preferably equipped on its outside with a transponder or smart label 2 in the form of a label, which in the usual way has a writable chip and an antenna 3 connected to it.
- a dosing device for filling the product into the product container from a storage container, not shown is generally designated 4.
- This metering device is equipped with a read / write unit 5, which is connected, for example, via a serial interface to a controller 6, which is connected to a controller 7 of the metering device 4, a rocker switch 8 or the like being provided for actuating the metering device can be.
- the product container 1 is transported in the usual way into the vicinity of the metering device 4.
- Product information has previously been stored in the transponder 2 of the container 1, for example the product information itself and the amount of product to be dosed.
- the read / write unit 5 inductively queries the product data on the transponder label 2. For this purpose, the read / write unit 5 generates an inductive field, so that the antenna 3 of the transponder 2 on the product container 1 is made to vibrate and thus there is energy for sending the information. The signal is collected and processed by the read / write unit 5, then the read / write unit 5 transmits the control data to the controller 6. These are implemented in controller ⁇ and the metering device is actuated accordingly via controller 7, provided the product information is correct.
- the read / write unit 5 can also write new data into the transponder 2 of the product container 1, for example the quantity of product dispensed, the filling date and various other suitable information.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment.
- the data In order to be able to use the stored information, the data must first be read into the data memory. This takes place in the filling process. The process thus encompasses the entire process, starting with the filling and ending with the dosing.
- the manufacturing process can also be made much safer. Product mix-ups can be excluded. This applies to the production process as well as to later use.
