Also, a built-in rotation mechanism enables conversion between a levelness indicator and a verticality indicator. The pendulum movement of a weight plumb is stopped quickly due to magnetic resistance so that the real levelness and verticality and a vertical point are convenient are indicated by using a laser beam. Thus, the present invention can reduce the time and amount of work needed for indicating levelness and/or verticality. Further, when an object to be worked on is huge, levelness and/or verticality can be effectively indicated.

Abstract

L'invention concerne indicateur de niveau horizontal et/ou vertical faisant appel à un faisceau laser. Un faisceau laser émis par un mécanisme (4) de balayage de faisceau est converti en une ligne laser au moyen d'une lentille (145) cylindrique ou d'un miroir rotatif polygonal, et cette ligne laser est utilisée pour indiquer le niveau horizontal et/ou vertical, et un point de verticalité à l'aide de viseurs, par un processus d'étalonnage destiné à faire coïncider la ligne laser avec une ligne de niveau de référence. Cet indicateur de niveau horizontal et/ou vertical comprend une diode (50a) laser permettant de produire un faisceau laser, une unité de conversion et d'émission de faisceau laser permettant de convertir le faisceau laser reçu et d'émettre un faisceau laser converti, et une section permettant de fournir un niveau de référence de manière que la ligne laser de sortie produite par l'unité de conversion et d'émission du faisceau laser soit maintenue à ce niveau de référence. Ce dispositif comprend en outre un fil à plomb (94) dont le mouvement pendulaire est interrompu rapidement au moyen d'une résistance magnétique de sorte que l'horizontale et la verticale effective et le point de verticalité sont indiqués de manière aisée au moyen du faisceau laser. Ce dispositif permet ainsi de réduire le temps et l'effort nécessaires pour indiquer les niveaux horizontaux et/ou verticaux, et de mesurer avec efficacité les niveaux horizontaux et/ou verticaux sur un objet de très grande dimension.
