Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum Aufschmelzen von Polymergranulat auf einem Abschmelzelement zum anschließenden Verspinnen des aufgeschmolzenen Granulats. Um das Granulat energetisch günstig ohne hohe thermische oder mechanische Belastung aufzuschmelzen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass als Abschmelzelement ein solches mit zur Unterseite des Abschmelzelementes sich konisch verjüngenden Öffnungen verwendet wird, denen kugelkörmige Partikel als das Granulat mit einem mittleren Durchmesser D3 zugeführt werden, der sich verhält zum eintrittsseitigen Durchmesser D1 der Öffnung wie 2 * D3 ≥ D1 ≥ D3.
