The central computer administrator may send a message to the owner's terminal when the owner's card has evolved or when the owner becomes, or nears becoming, eligible for a prize.

Abstract

Cette invention a trait, d'une manière générale, à des cartes de collection relatives au sport, à des articles souvenir ou de collection, pouvant être distribués à des collectionneurs ou à des clients et pouvant être utilisés pour accéder à des cartes de collection relatives au sport, à des articles souvenir ou de collection électroniques par le biais d'un réseau de communication. Un mode de réalisation particulier de l'invention porte sur une carte de collection distribuée pouvant donner accès à une carte de collection électronique. Cet article distribué peut être associé à un identificateur, pouvant être unique. Cet identificateur peut être présenté à un ordinateur central pouvant accéder à un support lisible par un ordinateur, dans lequel des articles virtuels sont stockés et ce, d'après l'information d'identificateur présenté. L'ordinateur central entraîne l'affichage de l'article virtuel et peut modifier celui-ci grâce à un processus d'évolution. Cet ordinateur central peut également renfermer des jeux, des tirages de prix et d'autres activités dans le cadre desquelles sont utilisés les articles virtuels.
