Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de réaliser un dessalement efficace au moyen d'une source de chaleur à faible densité d'énergie, telle que l'énergie solaire. Ce dispositif de dessalement comprend un collecteur solaire (1), un système d'évaporation (2), une tour de refroidissement (3), un réservoir d'eau distillée (4), un réservoir de saumure concentrée (5) et un moyen (6) servant à créer un vide. Ce dernier (6) réduit la pression dans les espaces d'évaporation des évaporateurs respectifs du système d'évaporation (2). La vapeur produite dans l'évaporateur précédent est introduite dans l'échangeur de chaleur d'un évaporateur concerné, afin de servir de source de chaleur. La vapeur produite et l'eau condensée sont acheminées à l'échangeur de chaleur de l'évaporateur suivant, afin de servir de source de chaleur, ce qui permet de tirer profit des effets multiples d'une pluralité d'évaporateurs. Une chambre de désaération est située dans l'étage le plus en avant du système d'évaporation pour désaérer un gaz non condensable provenant de l'eau non traitée acheminée aux évaporateurs. Une pompe (26) servant à acheminer un caloporteur condensé au collecteur solaire est placée dans le trajet de circulation du caloporteur. L'eau non traitée condensée, utilisée pour produire de la chaleur dans le système d'évaporation, est acheminée dans un condenseur afin de servir d'eau de refroidissement.
