Abstract

In einem Verfahren und einer Einrichtung zum Beizen von gewalztem Metall-, insbesondere von Stahlband, wird das Metallband (1) einem geregelten Beizvorgang zugeführt. Um den Beizvorgang nicht nur aufgrund der üblichen Beizparameter durchzuführen, sondern zusätzliche Parameter ausserhalb des Beizbeckens zu berücksichtigen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß der Beizvorgang zusätzlich zu den Beizmediumparametern aufgrund von vor dem Einlaufen des Metallbandes (1) in den Beizteil (3) festgestellten und/oder gemessenen Parametern des Coils (2) und/oder des Metallbandes geregelt wird.
