There are different levels of regulation for different samples. The more hazardous is the sample, the more severe is the regulation, for example IATA Transport of Dangerous Goods Regulations 602 and 650.

A further drawback is that these packages do not provide significant protection against crush induced leakage.

Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un emballage de transport conçu pour contenir des tubes échantillon et des matières similaires susceptibles de fuir. Cet emballage comporte un tube rigide, résistant à l'écrasement, fabriqué par exemple par enroulement de carton et pourvu d'une garniture super-absorbante intégrée, les extrémités dudit tube étant fermées par des capuchons d'extrémité.
