Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'absorption des chocs au niveau de la tête du type auto-gonflant, qui se déclenche en cas d'événement physique d'urgence, tel qu'un dispositif de protection pour motards, un dispositif de protection contre les chutes pour ouvriers travaillant en hauteur, et du matériel de sport, de manière à absorber un choc sur la tête ou sur le cou de l'utilisateur. Ledit dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'une chambre de détente de gaz, constituée d'un matériau transparent à double configuration et rangée pliable dans un logement de forme annulaire servant, au moment de l'utilisation, de mécanisme amortisseur de chocs, constitue, du fait de sa configuration, un dispositif d'absorption des chocs en deux étapes. En effet, ledit dispositif utilise la différence de pression interne entre les chambres intérieure et extérieure, laquelle différence est due à la différence existant entre la pression du gaz de remplissage et la pression atmosphérique dans les deux chambres, à savoir la chambre extérieure gonflée par le gaz de remplissage et la chambre intérieure gonflée sous l'effet de l'aspiration de l'air atmosphérique. Ledit dispositif comporte aussi une valve anti-retour. Dans la mesure où une conduite de gaz souple, présente dans la chambre du gaz de remplissage (mécanisme indispensable dans un dispositif de remplissage de gaz au moment du gonflage), est formée, d'un seul bloc, avec une clef de démarrage et dans la mesure où ledit dispositif possède une fonction permettant le désaccouplement de ladite conduite, après le gonflage de la chambre du gaz de gonflage, le déclenchement d'un dispositif de démarrage de manière simple, automatique et garantie, le remplissage du gaz, le gonflage de la chambre de gonflage et les fonctions de désaccouplement du dispositif de démarrage et d'une bouteille de gaz fonctionnent bien.
