Diese Aufgabe wird bei einem gattungsgemäßen Ecksofa erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß das Schwenkteil um eine senkrechte Schwenkachse verschwenkbar und in einer senkrecht zur Schwenkachse verlaufenden Ebene verschiebbar gehalten ist. Die Halterung ermöglicht es, das Schwenkteil auf einfache Weise zu bewegen, um es beispielsweise aus seiner ersten Stellung in seine zweite Stellung zu überführen. Hierbei wird durch die erfindungsgemäße Verschiebbarkeit des Schwenkteiles sichergestellt, daß dieses auch dann nicht gegen eine Wand anstößt, wenn es in seiner ersten Stellung unmittelbar an der Wand positioniert ist. Das Schwenkteil kann mit seiner Schwenkachse vielmehr soweit nach vorne in eine der Wand abgewandte Richtung verschoben werden, daß das Schwenkteil nicht nach hinten ausschwenkt und hierbei gegen die Wand anstoßen kann. Das Ecksofa 10 zeichnet sich deshalb nicht nur dadurch aus, daß auf einfache Weise ausgehend von einer Sitzecke eine Liegelandschaft erzielt werden kann, sondern es weist auch ein großes Platzangebot in der Liegeposition auf.
