Description

Suitably, the arms of the backrest are pivotally mounted on an extension of a parallelogram.

In order to allow the movement of the additional cushion in its raised position, in one embodiment of the invention, the parallelogram are guided in rails in the furniture frame and provided with arms at the ends of the additional cushion is articulated.

In another possible embodiment of the invention, the additional cushion is guided in rails which are pivotally connected via arms with the parallelogram of the seat cushion.

It is particularly useful in the context of the invention, when the self-scooter is mounted easily removable from above. Thus, the rolled up on the self-roll bed cover can be easily replaced. This is particularly advantageous in tourist accommodation and the like.

1. A seating furniture which can be converted into a bed, the backrest (3) whereof can be pivoted by means of arms (12) pivotably mounted thereon into the plane of the seating surface of a seat cushion (2) mounted on parallelogram guides (6, 6'), wherein an additional cushion (4) is provided, which forms a reclining surface in connection with the seat cushion (2) and the backrest (3), characterised in that the seat cushion (2) is mounted in the furniture frame (1) by means of the parallelogram guides (6, 6') and the additional cushion (4) can be moved from a reclining position located at the rear end of the furniture into a position below the seat cushion (2) located in the sitting position.
2. The seating furniture according to claim 1, characterised in that the arms (12) of the backrest (3) are pivotably mounted on an extension (13) of a parallelogram guide (6).
3. The seating furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the parallelogram guides (6, 6') are guided in rails (8) in the furniture frame (1) and are provided with arms (10), at the ends whereof the additional cushion (4) is mounted in an articulated manner.
4. The seating furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the additional cushion (4) is guided in rails (20) which are pivotably connected by means of arms (10) to the parallelogram guides (6, 6') of the seat cushion (2).
5. The seating furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that at least one pivot arm (11, 11') is provided for guidance of the additional cushion (4), which is hinged at one end to the additional cushion (4) and at the other end to the furniture frame (1).
6. The seating furniture according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that an automatic roller (16) holding a bed covering (18) is provided at the rear end of the additional cushion (4) .
7. The seating furniture according to claim 6, characterised in that the automatic roller (16) is mounted so that it can easily be removed from above.
