Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à : un procédé permettant d'appliquer au moins un produit chimique de traitement sur un produit plan à base de fibres, en particulier du papier ménager, lequel procédé consiste à : a) appliquer de l'eau, une solution aqueuse ou une dispersion aqueuse sur une première surface active (1) du produit ; b) laisser le produit gonfler dans la première surface active ; c) appliquer ensuite une composition de traitement contenant au moins un produit chimique de traitement sur au moins une seconde surface active (2) du produit, la seconde surface active étant placée à l'intérieur de la première surface (1) ; et à un produit plan à base de fibres, en particulier du papier ménager, obtenu selon le procédé précité. Un gonflement uniforme à l'intérieur de la première surface active, en particulier sur toute la surface du produit plan à base de fibres, empêche la formation de plis (surface non uniforme) pouvant résulter de l'application de la composition de traitement.
