Abstract

Cette invention a trait à une méthode permettant de renseigner des enregistrements de transactions électroniques sur l'Internet, dans le cadre de laquelle une feuille de commande et un état de transaction sont adressés à un marchand par le canal de son télécopieur, ce qui permet à ce marchand de mener facilement des transactions électroniques sur l'Internet même s'il n'a aucune connaissance informatique. Lors de la première étape (S11 - S16), un consommateur accède à un site du WEB visant à assurer un service de commerce électronique sur l'Internet, sélectionne des biens désirés et fait une demande d'achat desdits biens. Lors de la seconde étape (S17 - S19), un réseau financier d'information de crédit de transaction détermine s'il approuve ou non la transaction relative aux biens sélectionnés en fonction de l'information personnelle entrée par le consommateur. Il détermine également le montant à payer par le consommateur et réalise une opération de règlement électronique avec attribution d'un numéro d'approbation au moment de l'approbation des biens sélectionnés.
