Definitions
- Fixing device for a manifold intended for the distribution of fluid
- the present invention relates to a fixing device for a manifold intended for the distribution of fluid. It also relates to a collector which can be fixed using a fixing device according to the invention.
- the fields concerned by the invention are essentially the following fields: hot and cold water sanitary, central heating, low temperature heating floor and cooling floor.
- fields in which a fluid, water but also other hydraulic fluids, is sent to a collector before being distributed to different members of a hydraulic network are also concerned.
- a first collector receives the fluid from a source and distributes it to different organs of the hydraulic network while the other collector collects the hydraulic fluid from the different organs of the hydraulic network to evacuate or return it to the source.
- the collectors are then generally mounted in a cabinet or a technical sheath. Of course, other positions of these collectors are possible.
- the collectors are fixed in a cabinet, or the like, using collars.
- Each necklace is made up of two pieces, half rings or stirrups, connected to each other using two screws.
- One part is fixed on a support plate while the other part and the two screws are separate elements.
- An assembler must then assemble a half ring or a bracket and two screws to be able to fix a manifold. Then, to fix the collector, he must put the half ring or the stirrup on the piece fixed on the support and screw the two screws.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a collector fixing device allowing easier mounting than the fixing devices (collars) of the prior art.
- the device it offers is a fixing device for a manifold intended for the distribution of fluid comprising a support plate intended to receive the collector.
- the support plate is pivotally mounted at least one axis in which is screwed a screw which is perpendicular thereto.
- each pivoting screw is mounted captively.
- the screw is integral with the fixing device and cannot escape. The assembler is then guaranteed to have on hand the screw necessary to fix the manifold.
- the device according to the invention advantageously comprises a pivoting screw and, opposite this pivotally mounted screw, a fixed fixing lug.
- a collector to be fixed is then placed against the fixing lug and the screw is pivoted and then screwed to hold the collector.
- the fixing lug advantageously has a central zone of lesser width, intended to come and take place between two fixing branches of a collector. This embodiment allows better retention of the collector.
- a double fixing device according to the invention is in the form of a folded metal blade and at the two ends of which there is a fixing device as described above.
- the present invention also relates to a manifold for the distribution of fluid comprising a tubular body having a longitudinal axis with which is associated at least one radial outlet, characterized in that it comprises on two opposite faces, two fixing brackets each comprising a base attached to the body of the collector and two branches extending in a substantially transverse direction.
- This collector can thus be fixed as well by a fixing device according to the invention which comprises a fixing lug and a pivoting screw as by a device comprising two screws mounted pivoting.
- Each stirrup has for example a profiled shape of U-shaped cross section extending along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the manifold and to the radial outlet (s) of this manifold.
- each stirrup has at one of its ends two notches intended to receive a fixing lug, the latter exerting in the mounted position a constraint on the stirrup towards the support plate.
- the invention also relates to a module for a manifold for dispensing fluid, comprising a tubular body extending along a first axis in which at least one radial outlet is produced, characterized in that it comprises on two opposite faces, two fixing brackets each comprising a base attached to the tubular body and two branches extending in a direction substantially transverse to the first axis.
- each bracket advantageously has a profiled shape of U-shaped cross section extending along an axis perpendicular to the first axis of the module and to the radial outlet (s) of this module.
- each stirrup has at one of its ends two notches intended to receive a fixing lug, the latter exerting in the mounted position a constraint on the stirrup towards the support plate.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a fixing device according to the invention and a module of a collector before mounting the latter, and
- Figure 2 is a front view of a fixing device according to the invention and two collectors.
- Figure 1 shows a fixing device according to the invention and a module 2 of a manifold for fluid distribution.
- the fixing device is in the form of a plate constituted by a folded metal blade 4. Here it has substantially a bowl shape at the edge of which is each time a planar branch 6 substantially horizontal. Each of these flat branches is intended to receive a module 2. At each end of the blade 4, which also corresponds to one end of each planar branch 6, there is a fixing tab 8. The latter extends vertically at the edge of the planar branch 6, perpendicular to it.
- This fixing lug 8 is in the form of a rectangular blade having a narrowing 1 0 over a height H. This narrowing 10 consists of an area of lesser width.
- each fixing lug 8 there is, on the opposite edge of the planar branch 6, a screw 1 2 pivotally mounted. It is carried by an axis 14 which is perpendicular thereto, itself mounted in bearings 1 6 formed in the blade 4.
- the axis 14 is a solid circular cylindrical rod in the middle of which is made a transverse thread intended to receive the screw 1 2.
- the axis 14 is mounted transversely on the blade 4.
- the bearings 1 6 are produced by local cutting and folding at the level of the blade 4. Longitudinal cuts are made so as to form metal strips. The central metal strip is removed by cutting.
- the bearings 1 6 are in turn formed by folding the other metal strips, alternately one down and then one up, so as to provide a housing for the axis 14.
- the axis 14 is then introduced between the bearings 1 6 then the screw 1 2 is screwed into the tapping provided for this purpose in the axis 14.
- the axis 14 is then in a horizontal plane and the screw can pivot in. a vertical plane. In a pivoting position, the screw is located opposite the fixing lug 8.
- the module 2 consists essentially of a body 1 8 molded from synthetic material.
- This body 1 8 is a tubular body with an axis 20 having two radial outlets 22. Water, or another hydraulic fluid, arrives for example in the module 2 along the axis 20 and exits through an outlet 22 perpendicular to this axis 20.
- the axis 14 is substantially parallel to the axis 20 of the module 2 while the fixing lug 8 extends perpendicular both to the axis 20 and to the axis of the radial outlet 22.
- the tubular body 18 has a male end piece 24.
- the other end of the module 2 has a female end piece 26 intended to receive a male end piece 24 from another module 2.
- the tubular body 1 8 On the side of the male end 24, the tubular body 1 8 has two diametrically opposite ears 28. These ears 28 are each traversed by a bore 30 which extends in a plane perpendicular to the axis 20.
- the module 2 At the other end of the tubular body 1 8, that is to say on the side of the female endpiece 26 , the module 2 has two visors 32 which project iongitudinally from the tubular body 1 8. At each end of each visor 32 is formed a bore 34. These bores 34 are parallel to the bores 30 made in the ears 28. These bores 34 and 30 are arranged so that when a male end piece 24 of a module 2 is inserted into a female end piece 26 of another module 2, these bores 30 and 34 are aligned. It is then possible to secure the two modules 2 using a staple-shaped clip not shown in the drawing.
- the tubular body 1 8 also carries two fixing brackets 36.
- the latter are each in the form of a profiled part having a U-shaped cross section. The length of this profiled part is less than the height H of the narrowing 10 of the fixing lug 8.
- the fixing stirrup forms only one piece coming from molding with the tubular body 1 8.
- This stirrup has a base 38 contiguous to the tubular body 1 8 and two branches 40 which s 'extend substantially in a transverse plane relative to the axis 20 of the tubular body 1 8.
- the two fixing brackets 36 are symmetrical with respect to the axis 20 of the module 2.
- the assembly of the module 2, or of a collector integrating this module 2 is then done as follows.
- a fixing lug 8 is introduced into a fixing bracket 36 as shown on the right in FIG. 2.
- a slight inclination of the module or of the collector is possibly necessary for this purpose.
- the collector, or the module 2 then comes to rest on the flat branch 6 of the fixing device.
- the narrowing 10 of the fixing lug 8 is arranged in such a way that the fixing stirrup 36 is at the height of this narrowing 1 0.
- two notches can be provided, as shown in FIG. 1 42 at the end upper of the fixing bracket 36. In this way, the enlarged upper part of the fixing tab 8 can come to be housed in the notches 42. There is thus better immobilization of the module 2 or of the collector.
- the relative positioning of the constriction 1 0 and of the fixing bracket 36, as well as the depth of the notches 42 means that the module 2 remains in the inclined position, as shown on the right of FIG. 2 if it is not pressed down on the flat branch 6 of the blade 4.
- the screw 1 2 is pivoted to come in turn to take place in the other bracket 36 for fixing. It then suffices to tighten the screw 1 2 to obtain an excellent fixing of the module 2 or of the collector of which it forms part.
- the screw 1 2 is tightened, the module is pressed against the flat branch 6. There is then an elastic stress at the level of the fixing lug 8 on the fixing bracket 36 which keeps the module on the flat branch 6.
- the left part of FIG. 2 shows a collector fixed on a planar branch 6. The module 2 then rests flat on the planar branch 6.
- the assembly thus produced is very simple. There is no need to go for separate screws and parts. It is enough to correctly position the module or the collector and to screw a screw after having made a pivot.
- a support 44 can be screwed onto the fixing device according to the invention. This assembly is then for example mounted in a cabinet or a technical sheath by snap-fastening or any other means.
- each screw could be mounted screwed not directly in an axis but in a part integral with it.
- the present invention can be applied to any type of collector, of modular size or not, made of synthetic or metallic material, for any type of application. If the collector consists of modules, these can of course differ from that described above by way of example.
