Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von kugelförmigen Rohlingen (4) für die Verwendung in Wälzlagern vorgeschlagen, mit dem die Werkstoffauswahl gegenüber bisherigen Verfahren deutlich vergrössert wird und gleichzeitig Rohlinge (4) hergestellt werden, die im Fertigzustand eine bessere, feinere Oberfläche, ein besseres, homogeneres Gefüge sowie keine vorgeprägte Textur besitzen. Dies wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch erreicht, dass die Rohlinge (4) aus einem Phasensystem mit einer flüssigen Phase (7), die zerstreut wird, und einem sich anschliessenden Übergang der zerstreuten flüssigen Phase (7) gewonnen werden.
