Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur selektiven Spaltung cyclischer Carbonsäureanhydride der Formel (I) worin R Benzyl, Alkyl mit 1 mit 6 C-Atomen oder Aryl bedeutet, zu den entsprechenden Halbestern. Wobei als chirales Hilfreagenz ein chiraler Aminoalkohol mit einer tertiären Aminogruppe, welche auch in einer teilweise oder vollständig überbrückten Struktur vorliegenden kann, verwendet wird, der Verbindungen der Formel (I) in hoher Selektivität zu einem Dia stereomeren umsetzt. Gegebenenfalls wird anschließend der Halbester mit Borhydrid reduziert und dann der Ring zum entsprechenden Lacton geschlossen.
