Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Walzgerüst zum Walzen von Bändern, insbesondere von Metallbändern, mit einem ersten Gerüstteil (2) und einem zweiten Gerüstteil (3), wobei mindestens eines der Gerüstteile (2) an mindestens einem Führungselement (4) gelagert ist, entlang dessen es relativ zu dem anderen Gerüstteil (3) zur Einstellung des Walzspaltes zwischen den Arbeitswalzen des Walzgerüstes mittels einer Stelleinrichtung (17) verstellbar ist. Bei einem solchen Walzgerüst wird eine von den auftretenden Walz- und Bandzugkräften ungestörte Verstellung der relativen Lage der Gerüstteile dadurch ermöglicht, daß die Lagerung an dem Führungselement (4) als hydrostatisches Lager (14) ausgebildet ist.
