  • the movement of the feed trough means 3 and the neck rail means 7 is performed in a parallel and/or uniform action by means of a driving means 8a connected to the neck rail means 7, which driving means 8a is controlled by the control unit 11.
  • control unit may signal a control signal to the adjusting means 3, primary the neck rail means 7, after positioning and after the milking device has been connected to the teats of the udder, to move in direction from the back stop railing 1. This is possible when the teat cups (not shown) are fitted on the teats of the animal and the automatic mi-king device is removed from the position under the animal.
  • the second embodiment of the invention makes it is possible to keep the feed trough means 3 in a position, which been determined when positioning, and at the same time adjust the neck rail means 7 forward separately, when the teat cups are fitted. This can be done by means of the control unit 11.
  • the second embodiment of the invention means further that, using the neck rail means 7 separately with the feed trough means 3, during the positioning moment, the animal is positioned in dependence of its individual measures.
  • control unit can be programmed to move the neck rail means 7 a little bit forward, since the positioning procedure is completed.
  • the feed trough means 3 and the neck rail means 7 are moved forward to an upper position and the exit gate (not shown) is opened automatically, whereby the animal may exit the stall.
  • the movement of the feed trough means 3 and the neck rail means 7 is done parallel or in a substantially parallel action.
  • the exit gate When the animal has exit the stall the exit gate will close automatically by means of a sensor means associated with the control unit 11 controlling the gates.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système destiné à positionner un animal et comprenant un moyen butoir arrière (1) permettant d'empêcher l'animal de reculer, un moyen de réglage (3) pouvant être raccordé à un moyen support (20) afin d'empêcher l'animal d'avancer, et un moyen de commande (11) destiné à commander ce moyen de réglage (3). Le moyen de réglage (3) comprend un moyen d'alimentation (5) et un moyen traverse de cou (7) qui agissent respectivement pour le positionnement grossier et fin de l'animal.
