Abstract

Afin de produire un matériau de base destiné à l'intérieur d'un véhicule et qui soit léger et stable quant à ses dimensions, comme un matériau de plafond ou de garniture de porte de véhicule, on utilise un procédé de production d'un tel matériau à structure sandwich, comprenant les étapes consistant: (I) à empiler une mousse polyuréthanne, des fibres végétales, un adhésif thermodurcissable, et éventuellement un revêtement formant une surface décorative et/ou un film protecteur empêchant l'exsudation de l'adhésif, (II) à charger le stratifié dans un moule dont la température est comprise entre 80 et 150 °C, à fermer le moule pour laisser durcir l'adhésif, et (III) à démouler le produit ainsi moulé, après durcissement de l'adhésif. Ce matériau est caractérisé en ce que la dimension des fibres végétales est réglée pour que leur diamètre soit d'au maximum 1,0 mm et que leur longueur soit comprise entre 10 et 100 mm.
