Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Nukleinsäuresequenz gemäß SEQ ID NO:1 oder deren Derivat oder Fragment oder die Variante der Nukleinsäuresequenz gemäß SEQ ID NO:1 oder ein Derivat oder Fragment der Variante, codierend ein Polypeptid mit der biologischen Aktivität einer Arbutin-Synthase sowie ein von diesen Nukleinsäuresequenzen codiertes Polypeptid. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Polypeptide sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Glykosiden.
