Abstract
The invention relates to a nucleic acid sequence according to SEQ ID NO:1 or to its derivative or fragment or the variants of the nucleic acid sequence according to SEQ ID NO:1 or to a derivative or fragment of the variants, which codes a polypeptide with the biological activity of an arbutin synthesis, and to a polypeptide coded by these nucleic acid sequences. The invention also relates to a method for producing the inventive polypeptides and to a method for producing glycosides.
